At 9:41 p.m. on Wednesday night, Sparks Police, Fire and REMSA were called to respond to a woman in the roadway in the area of Brierley Way and Vista Boulevard.
Upon arrival, the woman was located with life threatening injuries.
REMSA personnel provided medical treatment on scene before transporting her to a local hospital.
The woman is in critical condition.
An initial investigation revealed that the woman was hit by a vehicle that left the scene before police and medical arrived.
The Major Accident Investigation Team arrived on scene and took over the investigation and it is still ongoing.
The suspect and vehicle involved are still outstanding.
Sparks Police are investigating a hit-&-run crash near Vista Blvd. late Wednesday night.Â
One woman has been transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after being hit by a car, near Brierley around 10 p.m.Â
Sparks Police is asking for the publics assistance in speaking with anyone that may have witnessed the crash or has any information regarding the crash.
